What was Cook 'N Battle event about ?
The first-ever Cook'n'Battle competition in Le Bouveret brought together six teams of student chefs in an intense culinary challenge! I was amazed to watch every single student working hard to create their most delicious and beautiful meal to show off to the jury and possibly win the prize : the dish would be served at the Swiss Air Lounge in Zurich airport!
Was it easy to photograph?
Well, live events can be very hard to cover, especially during tense and stressful moments like these one. I have to say that I was super nervous because I knew I had to perform 100% and try not to miss any important and crucial moment. I also was the only photographer and I had the responsibility to capture it all for the press. So, was it easy? No, although, you get use to the stress and perform under these circumstances. What made it easy was the kindness of everyone at the Culinary Arts School, everyone was simply incredible! The students, the coordinators, the professors etc... I can say I am satisfied of my images.
